MEET OUR EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Jeff Ponchillia
In 2013, Jeff Ponchillia had an experience that would forever change his life. After travelling to Haiti and witnessing firsthand the difficult circumstances many children were facing, he knew he wanted to do something to help.
What began with a desire to support a few children grew into a larger mission to provide meaningful opportunities for children throughout Haiti.
Over the years, Jeff continued returning to Haiti, building relationships and learning where support was needed most. Those experiences helped shape Change The Stars and its commitment to helping children access education, healthcare, housing, scholarships, and other essential resources.
Today, Jeff continues to lead the organization with the belief that every child deserves a chance to change their future.

Jeff’s first experiences in Haiti, sparked a commitment to helping children in need.
The Beginning
2013
The mission expanded as more children, families and communities received support.
Change The Stars Grows
2017
2 orphanages, dozens of scholarships - one recipient opened a free primary school. Recipients are becoming the providers.
